This year's 168 Film Project nominees have been posted on their website and "Hole Hearted", the story of Holocaust survivors David and Sima Forberg is one of the films nominated for an award (Best Unlimited Documentary). In the short film David and Sima talk about their experiences in a concentration camp during World War II and how they were able to survive. 63 years later they are proud parents of 4 children, 10 grand children and 16 great grandchildren is one of those up for an award. Their story of survival is touching and inspiring.
This film was shot on location in Miami Beach, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada and Dominican Republic and was created in less than 2 weeks.
The 168 Hour Film Project is a competition, in which films are based on a Bible verse and created in one week to premiere at the 168 Film Festival. This years Theme is: "FREE THE CAPTIVES."
